Emma is Professor of Sport and Exercise Science in the Institute of Cellular Medicine in the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Newcastle University. She is also a PI in the Human Nutrition Research Centre at Newcastle University. Her research focuses on the effects of exercise and nutritional interventions on appetite regulation and postprandial metabolism. Her recent work has focused on dairy and dairy proteins and their role in health, postprandial metabolism and the regulation of food intake across the lifecourse.
