University of Bath
Dylan is Professor of Human Physiology at the University of Bath. His research investigates the role of physical activity and exercise in the prevention of chronic disease. He integrates molecular and cellular laboratory-based approaches with free-living assessments outside the lab. He has published widely and he is regularly invited to give presentations at major conferences around the world. His research has been supported by major grants from the British Heart Foundation, BBSRC, MRC, Diabetes UK and the National Institute for Health Research. He serves as an advisor on funding agency panels and other bodies in both the UK and overseas.
