BASES COVID-19 Special Interest Group update

24th February 2021

The BASES COVID-19 SIG was founded less than a year ago. In that time, members of the SIG have contributed to a range of initiatives including a position stand, reflective statement, and an article in The Sport and Exercise Scientist. However, now that vaccines are bringing the Pandemic under control and the UK government and the devolved administrations have published roadmaps and frameworks which will end lockdown, what next for the SIG? Put simply, by the summer of 2021, does BASES still need a COVID-19 SIG and if so, why should you be a member?

Dr Andy Smith MBE. CSci. FBASES. SFHEA speculates on the future of the Group and explains why you should join. To access the artical,  please head to the 'Annual Reports' tab on the BASES COVID-19 Intrest Group page in the Members' Area.
