BASES Molecular Exercise Physiology Special Interest Group

As part of a series learning more about the work of the BASES’ Special Interest Groups, Dr Georgina Stebbings, Chair of the BASES Molecular Exercise Physiology Special Interest Group (MEP), has written and provided an article for BASES Members.

This article provides an update on the recent work of the SIG and the development of two BASES Expert Statements on the ‘Eligibility for Sex Categories in Sport;’ one in the context of athletes with differences of sex development (DSDs) and another in the context of transgender athletes.
