Exercise for older adults: what do you prescribe?

11th March 2021

We have been made aware from Prof Dave Broom FBASES, Chair of the Physical Activity for Health Division, that Researchers at Sheffield Hallam University (Sport & Physical Activity Research Centre) are conducting a survey to learn more about how exercise is being prescribed for older adults around the world.

As part of your job role, do you prescribe, programme or recommend exercise for older adults? If so you could help the researchers to understand the current landscape of older adult exercise and fitness.

Through the survey, it is hoped that this research will broaden the understanding of applied practice across a range of professions and allow future research in older adult exercise to be informed by real-world experiences.
